I am using the Honor Magic 8 Pro for a week and I can say that is a great phone. Amazing cameras, great baterry life (almost 2 days of moderate to heavy use), very good AI integration. One of the best phones right now.

You will often read that notifications for apps like WhatsApp or Gmail do not work reliably on Chinese ROMs. I can confirm that on my Vivo X300 Pro, all notifications work perfectly without any issue. Every alert for messages, emails, and apps comes through instantly and reliably. This was a major concern for me, and it has proven to be a complete non issue.
As for the phone itself, it is a fantastic piece of kit. The combination of 16GB RAM and 1TB storage is brilliant. Nothing slows it down, and I will never need to worry about storage space again.
The Zeiss co engineered camera system is stunning. The portrait mode and periscope zoom are particularly impressive. The screen is vibrant and gloriously smooth.
The battery easily gets me through a heavy day of use. The included Super Fast charger is remarkable, topping up the battery in the time it takes to make a cup of tea.
